"Thank you, Nick," she says, watching him tilt his head up and simply bask, relaxed and happy and bathed in light. Despite how awkward she still feels about everything that's occurred since she walked into the apartment, she tries to find a bit of that same ease for herself. As much as she can manage, anyway.
